Hi I’m Emily Brown!

A San Diego–based creative with a passion for visual storytelling, production, and all things adventure.

I began my career in marketing and quickly advanced to Marketing Director at a financial planning firm. But I soon realized my true passion has always been storytelling- capturing meaningful narratives through photography and videography.

Since making the leap, I’ve built a diverse portfolio: from documenting off-road race teams at the Baja 400 and Baja 1000, to shooting for the Hard Enduro Series, to working on commercial productions for brands like New Balance, Kawasaki, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and OGIO.

Last year, I worked as a Social Media Content Producer with the production company supporting Kawasaki’s product line. A role that further strengthened my skills in fast-paced action sports coverage, editing, color grading, client communication, and tight-turnaround delivery.

Currently, I’m strengthening my extensive on-set experience as a producer at a dynamic production company with opportunities to step into roles such as Director, Director of Photography (DP), Assistant Director (AD), Photographer, and more. I thrive in high-energy environments and bring passion, adaptability, and hard work to every project I take on.

Outside of work, you’ll find me surfing, snowboarding, dirt biking, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, or running (to name a few) really, anything outdoors! And chances are, I’ve got my camera with me.
